Announcement | Skill System


Hello everybody!

I came across this devlog to share some amazing news. I worked very hard the past weeks to develop the skills system and I'm pleased to share that the system is done! 

But what is the skills system? Well, on your point of view, as players, the skill system is what will allow you to aquire new passive skills for both your character and weapons. It will add the missing rogue-like flavor to the game and make the progression fit your play style, as you'll be able to create your own build to survive the hordes.

On my point of view, as a single developer, it will allow me to easily create and add new skills to the game. And this was really the real chalenge here, that's why it took so long. Since the skills are a key concept on this project, adding a new one MUST be a simple task. I may need to improve the system as the project grows, but I'm confident that it will handle it for now. 

For the next couple of days, I expect to work on some new skill designs and probably implement the most of them, so I can release an update introducing the whole system in a week or two.
